Werma Sounder Modules with Self-Adjusting Sound Volume
Varying background noises from machinery can often complicate the effective application of audible signal devices. Optical signals on their own can sometimes remain unnoticed if they are installed outside the of the machine operators range of vision. To tackle this issue, Werma has developed a smart Sounder Module with a self adjusting sound volume. Incorporated into the Werma KombiSign 71 range of signal towers, Werma sound modules provide innovative means of signalling and detection.
The sounder has an automatically self adjusting siren which can be adjusted to 5dB above the ambient noise of the machine / production line. The sounder continuously measures and adjusts for ambient noise, eliminating excess noise while maintaining total signal perception. The sounder drowns out any ambient noise from machines by emitting at a sound level which is well audible, without being irritatingly loud.
Users within the vicinity of the sounder are not subjected to excessive noise exposure, whilst perception of the signal is maintained.

The multi tone sounders of 139 and 141 from Werma provide 32 different audio tones and frequencies for a diverse range of applications to continuous and alternating tones in a range of frequencies. The new multi tone sounders provide a large selection of well defined international standard tones. Sound setup can be adjusted in accordance with the ambient noise if up to a level of 110 dB (Multi tone sounder 141) or 105 dB (Multi Tone Sounder 139)
