Detection of clear labels on a web

Application Details

The customer applies a variety of labels on their production line as below:

• Paper label on paper backing
• Clear label on paper backing
• Clear label on clear backing
• Metallic label on paper backing.

A high precision micro switch was being used, as photoelectric fork sensors could not detect the clear labels.
