The Omron V1000 design reduces volume size by 40% with increased vibration resistance from 20Hz to 50Hz, and increased heat dissipation thanks to a new hybrid heat sink system.

The Omron V1000 inverter allows for easy integration with screw-less terminals and side by side mounting. A special alloy, hybrid cooling fin allows users to mount multiple units closer together without overheating.

The Omron V1000 comes with a built in EMC filter to save on installation costs and reduce the bill of materials for external parts while simplifying logistics.

 

Work-Saving Set-up CX-Drive

With the release of the Omron CX-Drive configuration software, setting up the V1000 inverters is now much easier. Automatic recognition of drive series and type, oscilloscope functions and facilities for connecting a single PC running Configurator to multiple drives are included in the CX-Drive software.

The Omron V1000 (VZA) has a smart on-line tuning feature to ensure than any temperature deviation large enough to affect electrical parameters governing the motor speed are adjusted before any speed variance can occur.

Safety & Speed Control

Safety is embedded into the Omron V1000 from inside out making it easy to integrate the inverter into machines. Dual safety inputs (acc. To EN954-1 Safety Category 3) will disconnect the motor faster at the first sign of trouble, reducing external wiring and contactors.

The Omron V1000 delivers optimum speed control and high starting torque thanks to its current vector control. Current vector control uses a flux current which is an actual measurement rather than an estimated value. The Omron V1000 employs a dual CPU concept with a CPU device that is four times faster than on board previous inverters..

The Omron V1000 Inverter has a noise-suppression function which decreases motor noise at low carrier frequencies.

 

Minimize downtime

The Omron V1000 has a pre-maintenance function to calculate the condition of electronic components and advice replacements based on a wide range of operating factors, not just on hours in service. In addition, the V1000 control parameters need only to be set once. They are automatically saved to control terminal board memory allowing easy/quick replacements of inverters.
