The IDEM hygiecode coded non contact LMC switch has been designed for food processing applications and has the ability to work up to 125C but has been specified to 105C. It can operate with most EN 954-1Cat 4 safety relay. It has a stainless steel 316 mirror polish finish and suitable for CIP cleaning. The IDEM LMC switch has a quick connect M12 version fitted with a 250mm (10”) cable, a wide 14mm sensing high tolerance to misalignment and magnetic holding versions for use with small guards.

The LMC hygiecode has three 2NC version switches which connect in series to either SCR-2 or SCR-3 to give dual channel monitoring; it has a manual start and also a contactor feedback check. It has been tested to IP69K for high pressure hosing with detergent at 80C and 100 psi, and the magnetic holding versions are either 1mm gap with a 10N or 5mm gap with a 5N. It also has LED indication, high switching life and no moving parts.
