The Omron FQ series of vision sensor provides a compact inspection solution for packaging applications, combining high speed, true colour processing with built in high power LED lighting and lens. With camera and image processor in the sensing head the Omron FQ vision sensor offers a choice of PC or touch finder for setup and monitoring.

The Omron FQ vision sensors incorporate full colour processing (up to 16.7 million colours) built-in polarizing halation filters to remove glare for perfect contrast and integrated high intensity LED lighting.
Omron FQ excels in label inspection, cap inspection, date code and colour identification.

The high dynamic range of the Omron FQ eliminates halation (hot spots), increasing the image range 16 times that of a conventional vision sensor. Real colour image processing in a low end vision sensor gives the FQ the ability to see image details competing sensor would miss out.
